Hand In Hand, Together We Go...

Jan 2019 - On leave for the past week to settle #2 into primary school and also taking te opportunity to spend some time with the boys, I had enjoyed myself a fair bit. But of course, the enjoyment also came with moments where I questioned myself, what possessed me to be on 3 days leave and with multiple vocalno eruptions??

I am so glad I finally have the chance to send both boys to school. The last time I did this, it was during their childcare days whenever I am on leave. Now, I get to do this each morning. With 2 primary school kids, it is a real challenge settling into a routine and making sure we all leave the house and reach school in a happy, joyful, positive mood.

We are on the 2nd week of school and I am so glad we managed to get outselves out of house a tad earlier, and not having to rush for the traffic lights and run after the bus at the interchange. Keeping fingers crossed we are able to maintain this progress and a happier trio most mornings.

It is quite a sight walking behind the boys and seeing them walk alongside each other through the school gate. It is so heartening to see #1  helping #2 carry his student care shower bag cos #2 pretends and bullies the brother. Comparing to those yesteryears when they were much smaller and younger, pulling their trolley bags to childcare, to today's bigger and taller kiddos carrying their heavy backpacks. Moments like this, it is truly brotherhood!

I should remind myself to step back and observe them from the back and take more of such pictures. Such moments will never last.
