Anyone enjoys DIY stuff?

I enjoy DIY stuff. It allows me to be in a space where my mind can switch off for awhile. My DIY stuff  range from kiddos' handicraft for school (which I do not have a choice) to accessories (using Daiso stuff & my fav shopping haven) or just some nick nacks, simply for the fun of it. Oh... not forgetting that the DIY stuff extends to include essential oils too.

While Youtube has been a real handy friend most times, nothing beats attending workshops or class to learn the fundamentals and master the skills. Some of the craft stuff I do are from attending workshops with Artify Studio. You have gotta check them out just because they are damn cool and relaxed and quite fun. My kids attend art classes there and I am not paid to advertise them.

Anyway, my latest crafts are (1) using T-shirt yarn  (or old cotton T-shirt) to finger-knit bracelet or necklace. It is simple and pretty cool result. As the saying goes, practise makes perfect; so it is the most awesome and best excuse to keep making to perfect the perfect pieces! And (2) making my own mala beads. Mala beads needs time and to be in a state of calmness & peace before attempting. So, this will not take shape until I am more ready.

Am I good enough to sell them one day? Nay, I will take moons to be that good. I rather gift them to friends as pressies and (hopefully) receive one or two wholehearted appreciation. 😊

With the essential oil DIY stuff, they are mostly commonly used stuff like insect repellent or hair loss sprays. The self-discovery journey of DIY brings about a unique element of wonders, allowing one self to have a boost of confidence because they aren't so hard to make afterall.
